Hi everyone! I’m Luwam Yishak, Allocations Liaison and incoming junior for this year. I am majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry & Economics. In addition to being a part of SGB, this year I will also be serving as the Vice President of the Ethiopian and Eritrean Student Association and Secretary of the Undergraduate Student National Dental Association. I’m originally from Silver Spring, Maryland- just outside of DC, but now live 25 minutes outside of Baltimore. In my free time, you can find me spending time with friends, listening to music, cooking, reading or going to the gym. Im looking forward to another amazing year at Pitt!

If I had an extra hour in the day, I would write in my journal. Sometimes I don’t get the chance at the end of the day to reflect and decompress and could definitely use it!
