Hi everyone!! My name is Sarah Mayer, and I’m super excited to be serving as the Vice President of Policy this year! Last year I had the wonderful opportunity to serve as a member of the Allocations Committee, and I’m thrilled to continue my work at SGB this year. I’m going into my junior year, studying neuroscience and psychology. Outside of SGB, I’m an RA in Sutherland Hall, a research assistant in the Marsland Lab, and I work as an EMT. In my free time, I love to bake, make friendship bracelets, and hang out with my dogs. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or even if you just want to chat and grab coffee!
Which building on Pitt's campus would you be and why?
I would be Towers’ lobby because I’m always very busy, but a reliable place to go when you need a break from the outside world :)
If you were chancellor of Pitt for a day, what is the first thing you would do?
In this extremely brief tenure, I would lower tuition for students, reconstruct how the student activities fund is organized and allocated, and make everything $1.00 at Forbes Street Market. I’m very open to suggestions though, so feel free to stop by during my office hours to discuss this pressing matter.
What is a question that is always on your mind?
Is math red or blue?
